Christopher Scott is an award-nominated producer, writer, and director with more than three decades of experience in film, television, and digital media. Scott began his career with CBS before serving as a production manager and line producer for USA Network and the Sci-Fi Channel. As co-founder and President of Great Scott! Films, he directed nationally recognized campaigns for Hasbro, ESPN, Major League Baseball, National Geographic, the U.S. Army, Procter & Gamble, and numerous other global brands. His PBS series Moment of Luxury received a Daytime Emmy nomination, while his work as Senior Supervising Producer on the CW series Hip Hop Hold ‘Em included overseeing seasonal budgets and launching the series internationally. Scott has also built a reputation in documentary filmmaking, directing projects for Nike 6.0, Burton, Quiksilver, Volcom, and other leading action sports brands. His feature documentary Snowblind was released theatrically, and his short film You and I premiered at the Cannes Film Festival’s Marché du Film. He later wrote and directed the DirecTV series Gone Until December before producing feature films including Anesthesia, starring Kristen Stewart, Glenn Close, Sam Waterston, and Michael K. Williams; serving as Executive Producer on Cabin Fever and the Tribeca-premiering Bare; and producing and directing the giant-screen documentary Wingsuit: The Science of Flight for IMAX/K2 Studios, which enjoyed an extended run at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. Scott directed the sci-fi thriller Ed, starring John Travolta, Crystal Reed, and Chet Hanks. He is also the writer and lead producer of Scores, based on the 1990s New York nightclub, and is currently producing and directing Jimi & Me, a feature film inspired by the life and legacy of Jimi Hendrix.
